-Description-

A very short fun map with Ion Storm's original NYC Hotel map as base. Lots
of small details added and/or changed, such as lighting, ambient sound and
geometry for example. See features below. This map is best when being played
for the very first time and without cheats. Replayability depends on your
own ideas. However, this is no complete mission, it's just a fun map and
demo for my lighting.


-Story-

A bunch of radioactive aliens have escaped from Area51 and disappeared in Hells
Kitchen, New York City. J.C. traces them and his way leads him to 'Ton Hotel, a
place he knows well from his previous missions. He gets inside the gritty hotel
and walks inside the entrance corridor. But something is different this time...
the lighting, the ceiling, the whole environment looks different. And what does
a drugdealer do in there?


-Installation-

1. Copy the "51_nohotel.dx" file into your DeusEx/Maps folder.
2. Launch Deus Ex.
3. Activate console (press T by default).
4. Type "open 51_nohotel" (w/o brackets).


-Features-

* Aliens and Drugdealer added. Let's see how these things work together, eh. ;)

* New bank account for ATM with 3850 credits, enough for buying tons of zyme
from the drugdealer. The account is "Daedalus" and the PIN is "671".

* Zonelight added. The door entrance area and the T junction corridor now have
dark brownish ambient lighting which makes every dark corner visible and gives
the environment a special touch. Rest is Ion Storm's original lighting.

* Brighter lighting. The light tubes on the walls emit stronger, whiter light.
Except the areas with Ion's lighting.

* Ambient sounds added. Music removed. Hums, street and electricity noise to
make the environment live and immerse the player deeper into the world.

* New sound added. A funny quote from one of the "tuners" in the german version
of the movie Dark City. The sound is embedded in the map file, so you don't need
any external UAX package.

* Little extras added, like a flickering light tube, a special door and a few
surprises.

* Map file optimized. Smaller size, less waste of RAM and faster loading time
achieved.
