The new synthetic drug "Turbo" has begun to appear on the streets and in raves all around the world. The drug's clinical name is CL-DiMethaTurtotsomine, but is commonly referred to as "Turbo", "Wild", "BrainOut", and "Panzer."

The drug radically alters brain chemistry, reducing activity in the "higher" areas of the brain while at the same time increasing activity in other areas of the brain. Users report a slow but steady increase in energy as the drug takes effect. At the same time, higher brain functions in the cerebrum are slowed while functions of the thalamus, hypothalamus, limbic system, and other areas are accellerated.

"It's worse then the effects of a lobotomy." Surgeon General John Archer stated in a press conference about the drug. "It's almost as if the user's brain is reduced to that of an animal's. Some who have taken large doses lose the ability to even speak or understand most communication. In extremely high doses premenant but non-life threatening brain damage can occur - the destruction of the brain's ability to reason."

The UDAA is trying to better understand the drug's chemistry and pinpoint production.
