The Utility of the PS20 Hide-A-Gun

by Chris the Cynic

The PS20 hide-a-gun is only useful in a rather bizarre set of circumstances. What follows are examples of such circumstances.

Imagine that you wanted to take out a man in a heavily crowded bar. If you walk up close enough to listen in on his conversation (to make sure you've got the right man) and then draw your gun and shoot him, you have problems. The first scream will come before you've even got your pistol ready, and (assuming your skill with weapons is average) both the person he was meeting and his bodyguard will have taken several shots at you before you can fire accurately.

Enter the PS20 hide-a-gun, you can walk right up behind your target with it out and no one will notice (and you may very well want to if you want to be certain the shot is lethal) kill him in front of his bodyguard and he will barely have time to realize what happened, the other patrons won't get spooked until his friends start making a ruckus, and you can be out the door before a single unfriendly shot is fired. Also you do not need to wait for better aim, it is perfectly accurate from the start.

Alternatively, if you were in vast need of arson at a distance and didn't have a plasma rifle, this little thing will do just great. In fact by using it to set fire to crates next to TNT, there is a delay in the explosion of the TNT that is just too short to have any useful purpose.

Finally, the PS20 doesn't take up much space. Thus you could save one so that before you go to your weapon of last resort (knife, baton, sword...) you can take one last little bit of health out of your enemies so that you won't need to hack quite as much.
